Come in! Come in! (priv, Dusttail and Flameh)

The wind blew coming in Amberstar's face as the leader lay on his ginger stomach. His amber eyes never leaving his paws as he studied them. Days were numbered for his adopted clan and there was nothing he could do about it. Starclan had forgotten about Skyclan again and this time they would forever. and it was Amberstar's fault. It had always been sense he had left his birth clan. It had to be him! Why else would Bloodclan be here attacking them along with mysterious cats who like to kill off his cats?!

Amberstar pushed himself up and glanced out of his den. No one was up yet and Amberstar was glad of that. He really needed to talk to his deputy, Dusttail about the clan bussiness. The other tom was wise for a 20 moon old tom. Sometimes Amberstar thought Dusttail should be the leader not himself. But when he died, he knew Dusttail would be there for the clan 100%.

As the older tom walked past his den, he found a piece of Rabbit on the ground for him and he settled down to eat it. Though it was left in the rain from yesterday, Amberfang had to admit that it was tasty. It tasted so good that he wanted another one but prey was low already so he desided to go looking for Dusttail. As he wandered into the Warriors den, Amberstar noticed the body of Dusttail and proded the tom. "Wake up.. I need to talk to you.." Amberstar said and pushed himself out of the den and trotted over his den. "ok.." He turned to Dusttail with a wave of his tail to say hello. "Lets talk about Bloodclan and the mysterious cats."

The leaders den smelt of fear. That can't be his leaders he thought. "So let's talk about Bloodclan and the mysterious cats," his leader said. "Well were are being picked off one by one, and if those two are working together we need more warriors," he said trying to be calm. The thought of those two made him smell blood out of nowhere. He knew one day his chance will come. "And the mysterious cats are more dangerous, I been thinking what to do I just don't know right now I'm sorry," I walked out of his den in the clan was awoke, the clan that me and the leader have to protect.

He thought and thought. "I got it," he said to himself. He ran to the leaders den, and said "We need to team up with Bloodclan!"

Amberstar watched his deputy go with a sigh. This was no good, now his deputy had given up on the clan! So should he? A mean he had nothing but his mate who seemed to be giving birth! His kits wouldn't even survive after being born no doubt because leaf bare was coming and there was only three trained warriors to feed them. They should just all become loners so they would have enough to eat for themselves and their family! Plus the loners around the mountains were friendly and would probably let them live among them. "Then it's desided! We're going to.."

Before the Skyclan leader could finish his sentence, his loyal deputy burst through his den. 'We must team up with Bloodclan!' Dusttail said excitily. Amberstar looked at the younger tom with surprised eyes. "Do what?!" He said with great confusion. "Join will though crowfood eaters?! We don't even know if they are the ones doing this to us!" Amberstar paced around the room as he yowled those words. He was more talking to himself who seemed to be agreeing with Dusttail. "I don't know.. but it could work! All we need to do is find were they live.. probably in the dangerous lands! We can do this!"

Amberstar looked at Dusttail with the greatest respect. "That is a great idea! The best one ever thought up! We will join Bloodclan and defeat those mysterious cats! We have more numbers than them! With two clans combined we'll be unstopable!" Amberstar rushed out of his den with his head held high. This day would change it all! Skyclan would survive and thrive forever!

Dusttail had a great idea. Now all we have to do find out where they live. "Lets hope Bloodclan is having the same trouble as us with the mysterious cats," he said. "We should send a group of cats to there territory," he said thoughtfully. "Just us two should go," let's hope they don't claw us.

Dusttail was standing in the middle of a clearing. He smelt blood. He turned around. He noticed bushes filled with glowing eyes. He stiffed, and hissed at the glowing eyes. "Who are you cats," he said hiding his fear. They're were still standing there.Staring at him, he unsheated his claws. He smelt the blood again. The blood smelt familer. Skyclan blood. He woke up. He walked out of his den. He stared at the stars. Bloodclan has to accept to be an ally. If they don't were all dead.

Amberstar looked calmly at his deputy and began to speak. "Maybe just I will go Dusttail.. we could both be killed and I'm the only one who has nine lives..." He pushed himself up and walked outside his den. "And if I lose all my lives.. I will need you to take care of the clan.. They need someone strong.." He coughed with embrassment. He didn't like talking to anyone about his coming death. It was too weird... especially when he told his deputy who was next in line to be leader. If he was stupid, Amberstar might be worried Dusttail might kill him. But he trusted his deputy not to do that.

"Ok.. Dusttail.. I will go to Bloodclan after I announce a clan meeting." Amberstar looked at his deputy and hoped every thing would turn out. If only he had stayed in Windclan, then everything would be ok. But he had no family there, and his former mates meant nothing to him anymore. They were just like any other cats to him. Just blank faces like the rogues and loners he met on his territory.

"Dusttail... tell me.. if I die.. will you become leader after me..?" Amberstar asked with hopefullness. this might be a stupid thing to ask since Dusttail WAS his deputy, but when the old leader asked him to become deputy and then died, Amberstar had been ready to just stay a warrior.

Finished! But not good!

"I will be the leader of Skyclan after you," he said akwardly. "Bloodclan might be evil," he said, "they might think your one of the mysterious cats." He thought of his leader on his last life saying "You must lead the clan to victory against the mysterious cats." He felt sad in that vision. "I hope that won't ever happen," he said to himself. "Alright Amberstar you go alone, and try not to lose a life every on is needed." He walked out of his leader's den. The dream he had came back to his mind. The Skyclan blood. I won't let those cats kill anymore of us he thought.

His thoughts went back to his leader. He waited for the clan meeting. He'll probly do it later. He yawned. He's been tired for the last two days. Thinking about the clan, now that dream what's next. Every cat has a destiney but I think Skyclan alone has a destiney.

It's almost time for the clan leader to call the meeting. It's almost time for the clan leader to go and it's almost time for Dusttail to follow his clan leader to Bloodclan's territory. To make sure he doesn't lose one single life. Even if he has to save his leader's life with his own.
